Why is catheter-related urinary tract infection a persistent problem?

Nursing Times and experts from the Infection Prevention Society will be hosting a twitter chat live from the Infection Prevention Society conference on the subject of catheter care.

The chat will take place on Monday 30 September at 12:30pm.

We will be asking if catheter training is sufficient and if more can be done to reduce incidence of catheter-related urinary tract infections.
