Why do you support an open and honest NHS?

Are you with us? Let us know why you support our Speak Out Safely campaign to support staff that raise the alarm. We need your voice

The aim of our Speak Out Safely (SOS) campaign is to

  1. Persuade the government to introduce a statutory duty of candour compelling health professionals and managers to be open about care failings, and to strengthen protection for those who do speak out. You can help with this by signing our petition and encouraging colleagues and friends to do the same
  2. Persuade trusts to add specific protection for staff raising concerns in their whistleblowing policies
  3. Persuade the government to undertake a wholesale review of the Public Interest Disclosure Act, to ensure whistleblowers are fully protected.
