  • Comment
Chief nursing officer for England Chris Beasley is to return to practice this week as part of an effort to encourage people to do voluntary work.

Ms Beasley is supporting the launch of the National Volunteers Week by working at her local hospice, Meadow House Hospice in west London.

She will be working in the inpatient unit for two hours on 4 June 2008.

‘The staff are delighted to accommodate Ms Beasley’s visit and look forward to her arrival,’ said Jacqueline Grove, assistant director of specialist palliative care services at Ealing PCT.
