  • Comment
A new once-daily drug for over-active bladder – urge incontinence, frequency and nocturia – has been launched this month in the UK.

Fesoterodine fumarate (Toviaz) is an anti-muscarinic treatment, which is being made available in 4mg and 8mg doses for flexible dosing, according to manufacturer Pfizer.

The drug was immediately approved for use in the NHS in Scotland by the Scottish Medicines Consortium.
