Employers and apprentices in the care and health sector have a week left to enter the 2007 national Apprenticeship Awards.
The awards, organised by the Learning and Skills Council, recognise employers who are exceptionally committed to developing the skills of their workforce through apprentice training and apprentices who have exceeded their employer's expectations.
Skills minister Phil Hope said: 'We need to show the value of apprentices in every sector as a major contributor to our future productivity.'
Entries for the awards must be submitted by Friday 23 February. For details, go to the following website.
