NT has written to almost 500 NHS chief executives, asking them to support Time Out For Training.
We have asked them to pledge to:
ensure their nurses receive adequate levels of mandatory and non-mandatory post-registration education and training;
commit to providing sufficient backfill for their nurses to undertake education and training;
use their influence to pressure their SHA into spending their entire multi-professional education and training budget on training and education.
And we want you to write to your trust too, to encourage them to support the pledges and TOFT.
