Diversity dancers visit sick children in Basildon

  • Comment

The winners of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent competition, the Essex-based street dance group Diversity, visited sick children at Basildon Hospital last month.

Six members of the group – Ashley, Jordan, Terry, Samuel, Matt and Warren – met with patients and staff on paediatric and neonatal wards shortly before winning the hit talent show.

Sally Brown, the hospital’s children services matron, said: ‘The guys were absolute naturals with the kids spending time chatting to each patient and their families. Visits like this can really give our patients a boost.’
