Government launches consultation on health, social care and community support services

  • Comment
The government has launched a consultation on improving information sharing across health, social care and community support services.

People who need health, social care and community support services should have a quicker assessment process, said care services minister Phil Hope.

The consultation aims to create an efficient and transparent system of information sharing to avoid patients having to answer the same questions over and over again when accessing different services.

Care services minister Phil Hope said: ‘I want this consultation to bring about real changes in the system, to make our health and social care services work better around the needs of service users.’
