Marie Curie: A Nursing Day

  • Comment

Marie Curie will be following a number of nurses, all working in different settings, throughout the course of their shifts during the day and night on International Nurses’ Day.

Regular live updates on their work will be posted on Marie Curie’s Twitter feed and other social media networks. Nurses at the charity’s Liverpool Hospice, two community clinical nurse specialists based at West Midlands Hospice and also two overnight nurses in the community – one in Wales and one in a rural part of Scotland - will be involved.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Marie Curie will be following the nursing teams live on Twitter on @MarieCurieUK and #ANursingDay, and collating the best bits into a live blog later in the week:

There’ll also be running a live Q&A with one of our overnight nurses on the Facebook page from 7-8pm, and asking the nursing community for questions from Thursday (12th May) morning onwards.

Some of the photos from the day will also be published on Marie Curie’s Instagram feed.
