Hong Kong students come to Cumbria

  • Comment
Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle is currently hosting four nursing students from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, who are visiting as part of exchange programme.

Over the course of their four week visit the students – Hailey Lam, Antasia Lam, Tracy Chang and Yuki Tseng – will work on wards and participate in lectures.

‘This is a great opportunity. We can take a lot of knowledge back to our own hospitals,’ said Ms Chang.

Students on the BSc nursing course at the University of Cumbria already have the option of an overseas module, and it is hoped that this collaboration between the two educational establishments will develop into a regular exchange programme for students.
