An update for nurses on the importance of high blood pressure, its causes and prevention.

Topics will include: Investigation, treatment with and without drugs, treatment of different conditions and cardiovascular risk factors, BHS/NICE guidelines and A, C, D algorithm.

Speakers will include: Professor DG Beevers, Birmingham; Professor GA MacGregor, London, Professor NR Poulter, London.
