A leading US occupational health expert is to give a lecture next month at the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery in London.
Julia Faucett, from the department of community health systems at the University of California, San Francisco, will speak on 17 April. Her lecture will look at studies linking organisational factors with patient and nurse safety.
Professor Faucett lectures widely on occupational injury prevention, the management of disability and pain in the workplace, and organisational assessment, and also on theory development for nursing research.
