Injectable medicine guide for nurses launched

An online version of University College London’s injectable medicines administration guide has been launched for nurses and other health professionals, offering information on the safe and effective administration of many injectable medicines available on the ward.

It covers intravenous, intramuscular, and subcutaneous methods of administration and includes general advice on dealing with extravasation, osmolarity, pH, flushes and syringe pump compatibility.
