Now all we need is NHS England to fund all these wonderful new treatments so we can actually use them and cure our patients!!
I don't think the trusts are listening to you. Our community specialist nurses are being culled and debanded to save money as we speak. Unless the TRUST has more money this will not change. They have already warned us that they will be back next year to do more of the same as they will have have to save more millions by then. So much for nursing in the community and keeping patients out of hospital!!!!
Excellent idea. Having had to have several MRI scans I would have appreciated this before the first one
equally people with genuine mental health issues are being dismissed and expected to cope unsupported. When will services improve and people who need support including those with drug and alcohol problems, actually improve and provide a service for those who need help when they need ie providind a patient centred psychiatric service
Comment on: Pharmacy screening for Hep C urged
As a Hepatitis Nurse I would say this is a relevant nursing story. People who potentially have Hepatitis C are traditionally difficult to reach. How can they be referred to the specislist nurses and be treated if they are not diagnosed. I am all for any way that encourages more testing and promotes awareness of Hepatitis C. I wish that this service was rolled out over the whole of the UK
