Which was your favourite unit?
End of Life Care

Which unit are you planning to do next?

Why did you choose NT learning?
This was offered by my employer

How has NT learning helped you with your professional development?
Nursing Times is a great way to keep up to date in addition to being a really valuable reference resource. I use it to find topics for supervisions for staff in addition to my own development.
As a home manager, I do not work clinically every day therefore it enables me to keep up to date in preparation for my clinical shifts and discussions with residents and their families.

Do you think that undertaking a learning unit makes you safer to care?
Absolutely, it is so helpful to have everything at your fingertips 24 hours a day.

What other areas of NT do you also benefit from?
I am going to use it for my revalidation profile.

How has NT Learning helped you prepare for revalidation?
I was one of the first to revalidate, this will enable me to be proactive for the next time.

Would you recommend NT Learning to your colleagues?
Definitely, we are supporting all of our nurses to use this wonderful resource.

Janie was able to earn her spot as Learning Champion thanks to a group subscription bought for her and her colleagues by their employee, Colten Care. Find out about group subscriptions to Nursing Times here.
