Around 625,000 people experience long term consequences following cancer treatment, and as you know these ongoing symptoms can be complex and debilitating, with a significant impact on day to day quality of life.

Macmillan, in partnership with The Christie, have developed the Macmillan virtual Multi-Disciplinary Team (vMDT); an online network which provides cancer professionals with access to a range of expert opinion from across the UK, regardless of where they are based or what support is available locally.

The vMDT now accepts referrals for patients who have had any treatment for any cancer, however long ago active treatment ended, as long as they are at least 6 months post-diagnosis.
