We’re working with npower to help those struggling with energy bills.
They support Macmillan’s Energy Advice Team who offer guidance and help source funding for people living with cancer who are struggling to keep warm, regardless of who supplies their energy.1
Nearly a third of people living with cancer say they feel the cold more for reasons related to their cancer diagnosis and treatment. Consequently, at least one in seven of them suffer with depression (15%) or anxiety (14%) and nearly a quarter (23%) say they have sleepless nights or difficulty sleeping.2
Please tell the people you support that they can access information and may be eligible for assistance with energy bills at macmillan.org.uk/keepwarm.
Or they can call the Macmillan Support Line on 0808 808 00 00 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm).
