You may have seen our new adverts letting healthcare professionals know that anyone with cancer can experience financial difficulties relating to their diagnosis.

new materials to support you to have money related conversations

We’re encouraging you and your colleagues to have conversations with people about the financial impact of cancer and tell them what support is available.

We know your time is stretched and that sometimes it can be difficult to know what to say or how to help with money worries, particularly when there are other things to discuss.

We’ve worked with a group of Macmillan professionals to develop new resources to help you and your colleagues start conversations about money and tell people about the support that’s available.

Download the new Ten Top Tips and Financial Support Guide today and share with your colleagues.

  • It would be good to have articles relating to people with all sorts of health problems and their relevant money worries, I have patients with hiv and hep c and mental health issues and substance abuse problems and would like to know what advice to offer them as the government messes about with their benefits and makes them even more vulnerable.
