An ambitious new programme to transform cancer services has launched in North Wales.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has partnered with Macmillan to set up Transforming Cancer Services Together, a programme to redesign the way services are delivered to provide better care and support to patients.

The Wales Cancer Patient Experience Survey found that while most people diagnosed with cancer in North Wales have a positive experience of care, there are also areas for improvement.

Transforming Cancer Services Together has been set up to deliver these improvements and is looking specifically at breast, lung, colorectal and urological cancers.
