The results of the second Cancer Patient Experience Survey in Wales were launched by the Cabinet Secretary for Health Vaughan Gething earlier this month.

More than 6,700 people completed the survey (65% response rate) to share their experiences around cancer care.

The results showed the positive impact clinical nurse specialists have on patient experience, and that more needs to be done on written care plans. The survey was run by the Welsh government in partnership with Macmillan Wales.
