Minister honours student nurses

  • Comment

Northern Ireland health minister Michael McGimpsey gave out awards to 180 nursing degree students at Ulster University’s school of nursing.

The minister presented each student with the school of nursing’s official badge, symbolising their education success and professional recognition by the NMC.

Mr McGimpsey, who is pictured giving Lee Baxter his badge, said: “As nurses what you do affects every single person in Northern Ireland at some time in their lives. The public hold you in high regard, as highly qualified, competent professionals.”
