New guidelines on prescribing to children

New paediatric consensus guidelines have been published, offering advice on the prescribing and dispensing of unlicensed medicines.

Making Medicines Safer For Children was sponsored by an educational grant from Rosemont Pharmaceuticals.

The guidelines include case studies that highlight some of the potential problems of prescribing and dispensing medicines to children.
