Nursing students in Liverpool are learning people skills in a unique scheme.

University Hospital Aintree and Edge Hill University run a volunteers scheme in which people with disabilities or mental health issues help at the hospital. Students are now accompanying the volunteers.

Paula Pinnington, staff nurse and clinical practice facilitator, said: ‘We have had such positive feedback from students.’
