Avon and Somerset Constabulary have revealed that a student nurse wo went missing from Bristol nearly two weeks ago has been found.
In a statement released at around 4.30pm on Wednesday, the police said: “We’re pleased to confirm that missing 27-year-old Bristol woman Anna Lewis has been found safe and well.”

According to the statement, Ms Lewis walked into a police station in North Devon yesterday afternoon. “Her family have been updated,” said the police.
“We’d like to thank all the members of the public and the media for sharing our appeals over the past five days,” added the statement.
On Monday, the police issued CCTV images showing the last confirmed sighting of Ms Lewis, who was seen leaving Bristol’s Southmead Hospital at 12.15am on Thursday 13 April.
Earlier yesterday, the police said they were following up around 20 reports from the public of potential sightings of the student.

Ms Lewis, 27, is studying at the University of the West of England and doing a placement at Southmead.
