Chef advises transplant patients

  • Comment

TV chef Lawrence Keogh visited the Royal Free Hospital this month during National Transplant Week to help patients with kidney disease comply with dietary advice.

Mr Keogh, from BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and head chef at top London restaurant Roast, had a kidney transplant 10 years ago aged 35. He has written a free cookbook, Rediscovering Food & Flavour, to help patients comply with strict dietary guidelines, such as reducing salt. Pictured, left to right, are patient Jenny Jackson, clinical nurse specialist in renal transplant Nadia Godigamuwe, patient Russell Clinker, and Mr Keogh.
