A US nurse claimed Michael Jackson had asked her to inject him with the anaesthetic propofol four days before he died.
Cherilyn Lee, a nurse registered in California, who met Michael Jackson six months ago when treating one of his children, told CNN that one of Mr Jackson’s entourage had phoned her and asked for the drug so the singer could sleep, saying that one side of his body was cold while the other was hot.
Ms Lee, after speaking to Mr Jackson himself, refused the request and instead told his companions to take him to hospital.
‘I was really afraid because of the symptoms they were telling me,’ she told CNN. ‘It could have meant something going on in the nervous system or something cardiovascular.’
