Stroke guidance updated in Scotland

Updated guidance on the identification and management of dysphagia in stroke patients has been issued by SIGN.

It is the second part of revised stroke guidance from the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network, the first of which was published earlier this month.

  • Am I the only one that thinks a "swallow" assessment is counting the number of birds with a forked tail before declaring it is summer? The assessment is of the client's swallowING ability!>
