Allergies may worsen with climate change

Climate change could make allergy season worse for sufferers, a study has found.

The study of the relationship between carbon dioxide levels and plant growth, showed that plants will become larger and produce more pollen if there is an increase in CO2 levels. 

It also concluded that the allergen-producing fungus alternaria alternate will produce three times as many spores when feeding on the enriched plants.
