High Cost Area Supplements:

  • There are so many hospitals that are still short of nurses working in the wards. Threatening them to accept such term is just revolting. The yearly increment that nurses gets is not a lot if it will be divided into the number of days they work. Comparing this to the inflation rate nowadays, it is nothing. Obliging then to accept this demand will just drive the nurses away even more from this profession just to earm more money. Healthcare services will suffer more as a consequence because the quality of care will be poor due to even more shortage of nurses.
