BHF promotes wellbeing at work

  • Comment

Health and wellbeing in the workplace awareness has been given a boost by The British Heart Foundation’s Health at Work programme.

BHF members get free information, resources and practical tips on encouraging colleagues to get fit and active, as well as eating well at work. It also provides advice to help colleagues enjoy work more and improve their working relationships with other colleagues.

As well as these free resources, the BHF have also created a Health at Work website, which is a place for members to get the latest news and health tips. The site is regularly updated with events and success stories to keep people inspired.

The programme aims to not only improve the heart health of people in workplaces, but also aims to reduce sickness absence and reduce staff turnover by making them happier in their jobs.
