Jo Haworth has joined Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust as a new divisional nursing director, it has been announced.
She has taken on the role of Diggory divisional director of nursing, which covers all services in Milton Keynes, as well as addictions and offender care and sexual health services.
Ms Haworth was previously at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where she worked in a variety of roles – latterly as divisional director of nursing and governance.
Having worked in various nursing roles across the acute sector since 1992, She said she was looking forward to the different challenges presented by a community and mental health trust.
“I have worked in accident and emergency and the acute setting across London over a numbers of years, but wanted to broaden my experience within the NHS,” she said.
“From what I have seen so far CNWL is very patient-centred with some really interesting innovations under way, great services and hard-working staff,” she said. “I look forward to meeting more of the staff within this division.
Ms Haworth added: “My aspirations in this role are to ensure that we get it right for patients first time every time and that we have a caring and compassionate workforce that is patient-centred and compassionate to each other.”
