Nominate a nurse colleague who is a ‘rising star’ in the profession

  • Comment

Nursing Times is searching for the up and coming figures who are making a real difference in nursing.

We are looking to acknowledge the “expertise and enthusiasm” of students who are currently training to be a nurse or those who qualified within the last five years – people who have already had an positive impact on colleagues and patients, and who will go on to influence the profession in their careers.

You can nominate a colleague, mentor, student, boss or direct report for their good work. Using our online form, tell us why they deserve to be recognised as a “rising star in the nursing world”.

Announcing the opening of nominations, Nursing Times editor Jenni Middleton said: “The nursing profession is full of people who are inspiring and leading change that makes the care and treatment of patients or service users better every day.

“To ensure this continues we have to constantly find a new generation of people who can bring new ideas and their passion into nursing. Nursing Times Rising Stars aims to do that – by acknowledging the freshest talent and sharing their good practice.”

Nominations close on 5 May. The final list of 25 rising stars will be announced at a ceremony in June.
