Nursing Times begins search for Nurse Tweeter of the Year 2014

  • Comment

The Twitter community is being asked to put forward names of nurses who deserve to be recognised for their contribution to nursing through social media

Until Saturday 15 November, nurses, student nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants will be able to nominate themselves or each other to be Nursing Times’ Nurse Tweeter of the Year 2014.

The competition aims to celebrate the work nurses do in social media to spread good practice and offer advice and support.

After nominations close, the Nursing Times team will identify a shortlist of 20 who will then face a public ballot to decide the eventual winner. Following a week of voting via the Nursing Times website, the top tweeter will be announced on Monday 15 December.

As well as gaining the title of Nursing Times’ Nurse Tweeter of the Year 2014, the winner will also walk away with a luxury hamper from Waitrose, worth £200.
