Title: Looking in, looking back – Happy memories, That’s a fact

Author: Sharon Rose

Publisher: Arthur H Stockwell LTD

Reviewer: Debbie Quinn, Queens Nurse, head of professional development, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

What was it like?

A non- fiction book based on the authors experience as a nurse and her personal life

What were the highlights?

This is the author’s fourth book following her fight with breast cancer where she hopes to give hope and inspiration to others. It is a short be easily readable book, which shares her triumphs, challenges and traumas throughout her life as well as her dedication to the nursing profession.

Strengths & Weaknesses:

I felt the need to have read the author’s previous books first as at times the book travelled from one era to another frequently, sometimes confusing the reader with the flow.

Who should read it?

Nurses and the general public would enjoy this book, but I would strongly suggest reading the author’s previous books first.
