Police appeal for assistance from nurses

Were you in Crete on the 17th June? The police are looking for a British nurse who came to the assistance of a man who had been seriously assaulted

On 17th June 2008 at approximately 4am, a British man was seriously assaulted in Malia, Crete by a number of other British men. He suffered serious head injuries.

The matter is being investigated by the Greek authorities. The Metropolitan Police Service are providing assistance where requested.

It is believed a member of the public who came to the assistance of
and treated the victim following the assault was a woman who identified herself as a British nurse.
