Prosthetic aortic graft

This is an endoscopic image of a prosthetic aortic graft that has eroded into the duodenum.

Cases like this are uncommon and have a mortality rate of nearly 100% when untreated. While the most common presenting symptom is hematemesis, this case was discovered before it reached that stage.
