RCN provides advice on subdermal contraceptive implants

New advice on fitting subdermal contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices has been produced by the RCN.

The accreditation and training guidance, on clinical skills, counselling of patients and maintaining competence, can be downloaded free from the RCN website.

Health organisations have until 31 January to continue making applications for accreditation using the previous guidance packs. After that all applications must be made using the new guidance.
