Report reveals major failings at nurse regulator

Comment

The committes on fitness to practice, not only do not protect the public adequetly ,but also aid some private homes in disregarding the NMS 2000 set for care homes. They make unreasonbly complains on Nurses,in order to cover up their bad practices. The NMC competence committes are themselves incompetent in their jobs, as they threat Nurses as piece of paper not a profession.A nurse was struck off the register for five years, following allegation from a nursing home that the nurse left the home unattended without a qualified RMN, the nurse was refused representation as documents he sent via recorded delivery was claimed as not recieved. Documents before the three committees were not read before judgement was passed, as they were unable to pick up the contracditions in witness statement.a visit to the home would have also helped their judgement. IWeeks after a compilation of contradition statement was given to them , then the stricking order was revoked ( a dent in the Nurses CV). How protective are these committes of competence. Are they competent ?
