Midwives hit back at government drive to reduce weight of NHS staff

I am a Staff Nurse in a 14 bed Critical Care Unit, 2 weeks ago I was nursing a patient in a reverse barrier nursing room, the patient had multiple sytem failures. The situation on the Unit outside was chaotic. Result, my relief for a short coffee break, after taking handover at 0730, was 1245pm, I took a 10 minute break, so the nurse relieving me could take her lunch break, my luncbreak came at 3.45pm, A sandwich and a drink took up 20 minutes, That was it until I had an evening meal at home at 8.30pm what price healthy eating.
