Michael Parkinson speaks out on Haywood case


Michael Parkinson would say the Trust were right to sack Margaret Haywood. He has, as usual, completely missed the point. Her actions were for the greater good - demonstrated by the furore the programme caused - and the improvements which were made as a result. He is never likely to experience first hand, treatment in an NHS hospital - and certainly not the kind of treatment to which these poor patients were subjected. As such, he should keep his comments to himself. Margaret Fox
