The debate around public service cuts lacks logic

Right On!!! Seem that the long term effects of the 'Peter Principal' is showing - "that employees within an organization will advance to their highest level of competence and then be promoted to and remain at a level at which they are incompetent." - and is alive (after 10+ years) and causing havoc in government, health care and so many areas where decisions and plans cause the first response to be, "What???" After 20 or so years, I agree, the carpet trade looks good.
