Mephedrone ban comes into force in UK

Hmmm! Me thinks the government were responding to media pressure/public reaction in the run up to the general election! Several of the deaths were suspected to be linked to the use of mephedrone, but it was not actually confirmed. I guess swine flu never really took off, so the media needed something else to scare the public with!
