Resuscitation in mental healthcare

Life support skills and training is an integral part of any practitioners role. The duty owed to service users stands side by side with the codes of conduct with which we abide by. The management of challenging behaviour and physical intervention training within my organisation has life support training to ILS standard for all staff within every training module. Caring is all encompassing and an essential element for all health providors, regulation by the NHSLA for FT organisations must ensure that this duty owed is strictly upheld.
