How far would you go to get to work in the snow?

Comment

Well I went 14 miles in the ice and snow in Jan on a motorbike to get into work because of my duty of care (I work in a residential short breaks unit for kids with complex health needs and disabilities). I came off my motorbike when I was almost at work and cracked a couple of ribs and bruised just about everything, and couldn't move. I then had to go off sick for a week, and the weather shut the unit because of safety, and we had quite a few complaints about it. Basically, as nurses we can't win, ever.
