Developing skills in clinical leadership for ward sisters


The old sister role is outdated but with innovation comes new ideas, and the supervisory sister role is a much more hand on approach to nursing therefore putting the sister back out on the ward where she should be, helping and supporting not sat in an office where she is an approachable. We have on my ward a lovely young sister that remembers what it's like to be part of a nursing team and gives as much support as possible to make each and everyone of us feel a valued member of the team and we are very lucky to have her
