Comment: 'Helping care home residents is not always in their interests'

Comment

It was always the case that if a resident could do 5% themselves then assistance was given for 95%. If they couls do 95% then assistance is needed for only 5% Since big busines moved in and it became profit before care, staffing levels have dropped so staff now do 100% as they just dont have time to give appropriate assistance, time just doesnt allow. It would be lovely to go back to the days when staff even had time to talk to residents
