More Bridgend nurses suspended over false records allegations

And yet the head of nursing Ms Victoria Franklin - who presided over this nursing workforce for over 4 years and prior to that was an Assistant Director of Nursing until last November - is not accountable for her corporate responsibility for the nursing culture in this organisation. Believe it or not but this Director of Nursing is now promoted to being a nursing officer in Welsh Government and actually has been given the lead of a project to review and create new NHS Care Standards in Wales. Astounding and appalling. For the Chief Nurse in Wales, Professor Jean White, to employ this failed Nurse Director means that Prof White does not understand accountability either. Prof White actually line manages all the NHS Health Board Nurse Directors in Wales. Both of their roles are now untenable and both of them should resign or be sacked Now. The Welsh public are not safe under their reign as neither understand accountability or what good nursing care actually looks like. There are good nurses in the NHS Wales who are desperately upset about this shameful behaviour. Come on Nursing Times don't stand on the sidelines.
