Nurses and midwives complete four-hour strike over NHS pay

Unions are often criticised on these pages for not standing up for health workers, however, when less than 20% bother to return their ballot papers which is focused on their wages, what is to be expected. NHS staff will continue to moan but when given the chance, will not act. OUR NHS is being ripped apart by the con/ dems, privatisation is full steam ahead and as staff, we are helpless because staff can't be bothered to vote / or take action. Well done those unions who even bothered to try to consult their members. RCN - SHAME ON YOU!
