Hospices encouraged to adopt ‘rehabilitation approach’


'The rehabilitative palliative care approach is based on goal setting and self-management to empower people to actively manage their condition themselves, as far as possible, and achieve their personal priorities and goals.' This makes sense to me [not invariably true of what I read about end-of-life: the phrase 'death is a normal part of life' tends to raise my hackles] and in particular support for people to 'achieve their personal priorities and goals' is 100% 'spot-on'.
