Cardiff hospital nurses lose car parking charge court case

Comment

Anonymous above raises a good point. Staff having to park their cars in outlying streets place themselves at risk just walking to their cars, in the dark, late at night. I worked in Bradford when the Yorkshire Ripper was at his most active; one body had been discovered a few streets away from the hospital. The university put on free shuttle buses for students to ensure their safety. The advice from management for nurses? Walk to the bus stop/nursing home/canteen in pairs. Nurse safety has never been paramount in the minds of managers and this is a good example.
